The Jewish Memorial Hospital, founded in 1929 as Bikur Cholim Hospital, provided care to Jewish and non-Jewish patients in the Greater Boston area for close to 100 years. It continually expanded its facilities and equipment to meet community needs. A major renovation in the 1960s included a new dedicated x-ray building, completed in 1968.
