Intern

The JHC offers internships to undergraduate and graduate students with an interest in American Jewish history and archival work. Students have an opportunity to work directly with our collections, learn about archival preservation, and complete their own projects. 

We are currently accepting internship applications for: Archives Intern, Tiktok/Reels Intern, Video Intern, and Education and Outreach Intern.

Please indicate your area(s) of interest when you apply! Tiktok/Reels Intern and Video applicants should also submit a portfolio, a link to their website, OR a sampling of 3 pieces of relevant creative work.

Summer 2026 applications will be reviewed in late March and candidates will be finalized in mid-April.

 

Volunteer

There are many opportunities for volunteers, including assisting with administrative tasks, working with archival materials, helping with reference requests, translating documents, and other special projects as they are developed.
