Pamphlet for the Legal Aid Society of Springfield, MA, 1925.
The Legal Aid Society of Springfield, MA was founded in 1925 with the mission to “render legal aid, assistance and protection to worthy persons otherwise unable to procure the same,” regardless of “creed, color, nationality or condition.” Springfield-based attorney Abraham Kamberg served as a founding Vice President. Kamberg earned his law degree from Northeastern University before co-founding the law firm Kamberg, Berman and Hendel. In addition to his professional pursuits and community legal aid, he was an avid art collector.
