Evelyn Borofsky (1903–1967) was a talented singer and organist from the Boston area. She gained a following in Boston as a soloist and accompanist on the WNAC radio channel. She received her musical training from Boston University College of Music and studied under Felix Fox at his school in Boston. Borofsky met her husband, Latvian composer and conductor Janot Roskin, while they were both working at Temple Israel Boston. Together, they championed Jewish music and led congregational choirs in Indianapolis and Boston.
