George Clint Frank (1917−2000), a native of Chelsea, MA, enlisted in the United States Army Air Corps in July 1943. He attended bombardier school in San Angelo, Texas, and upon graduation was assigned to the 826th Bombardment Squadron, 484th Bombardment Group, and deployed to Italy and Morocco. Frank achieved the rank of First Lieutenant before his discharge in October 1945.
