The Genevieve Geller Wyner Research Fellowship at the Wyner Family Jewish Heritage Center (JHC) at New England Historic Genealogical Society provides an opportunity for a post-graduate scholar to conduct research at the JHC’s archives, whose collections focus on New England Jewish history and include the American Jewish Historical Society-New England Archive. While the research project does not have to take place solely at the JHC archives, JHC collections should comprise a significant portion of the project’s source research. Research can take place between April and September, to be scheduled with JHC archivists. At the conclusion of the Fellowship period, the Fellow is asked to present a paper based on their research at a public event, the Genevieve Wyner Annual Lecture.
One fellowship will be offered in 2021, in the amount of $2,500. Applications must be received by February 1, 2021. Applicants will be notified of their fellowship status by March 24, 2021.
